Who we are
Xuite is an audiobook production company operating at xuite.io. For any question about this policy, or about information we hold, contact [email protected].
What we collect
- Information you send us. Your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your book when you get in touch.
- Manuscripts and audio. Material you send so we can quote for or carry out production work.
- Basic technical information. Standard server and analytics data such as browser type and pages visited, where enabled.
Why we hold it
To reply to you, to prepare a quote, to carry out work you have engaged us for, and to keep records we are required to keep. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Your manuscript
A manuscript you send remains yours. We use it only to assess or produce the audiobook, we do not distribute it, and we return or delete it on request once work has finished or a quote has been declined.
Who else sees it
Narrators, engineers and proofers engaged on your book, under confidentiality, and only the material they need. Service providers such as email and file hosting. Anyone we are required by law to disclose to.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept while it may still be relevant. Project files are kept for 24 months after delivery so that masters can be reissued, then deleted. You can ask us to delete earlier.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google’s servers. We do not run advertising trackers. If we add analytics later, this section will say so before we do.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears here with a new date.
